Helping women who have tried everything finally see results.
Brontë Grooms, RDN, FMNS is a functional and integrative dietitian who helps patients lose weight, balance hormones, and improve digestion, especially when nothing seems to work. She provides personalized nutrition care for clients in Eugene, Oregon and offers telehealth appointments for patients across the United States.
She completed her dietetic internship through Montana State University, where she focused on sustainable food systems and developed a strong foundation in the connection between food quality and health. During that time, she was introduced to functional medicine, epigenetics, and nutrigenomics, which sparked her passion for understanding the deeper reasons behind symptoms.
Brontë went on to train for five years under globally recognized nutrigenomics expert Amanda Archibald and is a Functional Medicine Nutrition Specialist through Next Level Functional Nutrition. She is the only dietitian in the Eugene area with this level of advanced training in nutrigenomics and epigenetics, allowing her to take a more precise and personalized approach to care.
Her interest in this work became personal when she used a functional approach to address her own acne and uncovered underlying gut imbalances she had not previously recognized. That experience shaped how she practices today, focusing on finding and addressing root causes rather than just managing symptoms.
She works primarily with women, often in their late 30s and beyond, who are struggling with weight loss resistance, low energy, digestive issues, and hormone imbalances. As a functional dietitian in Eugene, she frequently supports clients with PCOS, endometriosis, IBS, SIBO, thyroid conditions, and other complex concerns through both in-person and telehealth nutrition counseling.
Using genetic insights and functional lab testing, Brontë helps identify what is driving symptoms like stubborn weight gain, fatigue, bloating, and hormone disruption. Her clients typically experience steady weight loss of 2 to 4 pounds per month, improved digestion, better energy, and greater confidence in how they eat.
Her approach is rooted in real life. She does not believe in rigid diets or one-size-fits-all plans. Instead, she helps clients build sustainable habits that fit their lifestyle so the results actually last.
Outside of work, Brontë enjoys hiking and peak bagging, especially in Glacier National Park. Her background in foraging, influenced by her Chippewa heritage, continues to shape her connection to food as medicine. She also appreciates slow mornings with a cup of coffee, usually with her 13-year-old lab mix nearby.
